Words of the week!

ESON (eh-son)
Meaning: I, Me, My, Mine.

Eson however, is considered an impolite way to refer to oneself.  It is therefore not recommended to use it when speaking to elders or people of higher authority.

Eson nak ngaken (I want to eat). 
He doesn't like eson very much.


BULE (boo-luh)
Meaning: I, Me, My, Mine.

Buler is the polite way to refer to oneself.

See examples above. 


BEKNA (buhk-na)
Meaning: You, Your.

Kenapa bekna punya rambut tarebeng sekali (Why is your hair so irritating/annoying)?
Have bekna eaten?


JERIAK (juh-ree-ak)
Meaning: He/she/They, his/hers/theirs.

Baju jeriak koyak (His/her clothes are torn).
Jeriak so pretty.
